Scotland Yard is searching for the airman, Godfrey Bond, formerly engaged in transporting gold dust by air, from the New Guinea mountains to the Coast. tie left New Guinea in November to join his wife and children in Britain for Christmas. He. boarded the Rome-Calais express at Genoa in the middle of December, and carried a considerable sum of money a.nd a quanfitly of gold dust in his luggage. He lias not been seen since.
