The death was announced to-night of J, J Clisliy, a United Australia Party candidate at the recent Federal election, who won East Sydney si at from e! J. Ward,, a Lang planner by a narrow majority, alter a thrilling contest which evoked interest Australia wide. Clisliy, who was most popular, became seriously ill alter the dedalation of Hie poll, his hist p'd.lie appear,•mee. He died of cerebral hemorrhage.
