LORRY WRECKED

WHEN BRIDGE COLLAPSES. {By Teleijraph—Per Press Association) HAMILTON, January 15. The collapse of a bridge over the Ruahiwi Stream hurled a doubladecker lorry, carrying 85 lambs, into the stream 30 feet below. The lorry landed wheels up, hut fortunately the engine rested on a hank enabling the driver, J. Hampstead, to make his escape. He had an ann broken, and received severe bruises. The lorry was wrecked, 53 lambs being killed.
