SALUTING AT SCHOOLS. i United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Co >yriglit.) VANCOUVER, January 13. There was a heated controversy over the action of the British Columbia 'Government, in decreeing the compulsory saluting of the Union Jack out of doors at the schools every Monday, The opponents of the decree, declare that this practice is distinctly an ant> Bri’tish one and is pro United States. They declared the saluting has not tended to incalculate real British patriotism.
