HEAVY SENTENCES
PLOTTERS AGAINST' REGIME. EX-POLISH PREMIER GAOLED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) 'WARSAW, January 13. Heavy smtences were passed on the Leaders of the Opposition, wrested during the general election in 1930, for plotting against the Pilsudski regime. Vincent Witos, a Populist leader, and thrice Premier of Poland, was sentenced to eighteen months' imprisonment, Hermann Liebennanu, a Socialist leader, to 2.1 yeirs, and live others from two to three years. The trial fasted two months, and the results have caused consternation in political circles.
