A statement has been issued by the Commonwealth Statistician to the effect that returns from Trade Unions confirmed the conclusion that unemployment Imd passed the peak and was mending slowly in New South Wales. The unemployed fell from .125,000 in Aug net to 115,000 in September and 110,000 in October.
