ON SLEEPING WIFE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association ) AUCKLAND, January 4. While she slept, with her two .small children, in a room of a Chineses shack, at Mangere yesterday morning, '.Marie Hnpi, aged 20, was struck and injured by a length of piping Her husband, Wiri Munalii Hapi, 25, has been arrested and remanded on a charge of attempted minder. The woman’s condition in hospital is reported not to be serious. She ami her husband have both been working in the Chinese gardens, but for the past month had been separated
