WEDDING BELLS
TIBBLES—O'BRIEN. The wedding was solemnis-ed, at - the Catholic Church, kelson Creek, on Wednesday, of Joseph, only son of Mr and Mrs J. Tibbies, Nelson Creek, to Florence, -second daughter of Mr and |Mrs J. O’Brien, aiso of Nelson Creek. Rev. Father Reward officiated. The bride, who ‘entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a frock of ivory georgette, with godets of pleated silk fichu net. She wore a wreath and veil, and shoes to tone. For a bouquet, she carried a sheaf oi •Christmas lilies. 'Miss May Tracey attended the bride as bridesmaid, and wore la shell pink, French embroidered frock, with hat and shoes to tone ,and also carried a sheaf ol Christmas lilies. The flower girl, little Kathleen Fitzgerald,' niece of the bride, wore a pale pink frilled net frock, whh headdress of tulle. Mr Michael 0 Brien, brother of the bride, was best man. Mr and Mrs Tibbies left by to-day’s express for Timaru, Ivaikoura and Nelson.
