Men’s doubles • A. 0. iCoull and Dr Smythe beat J. Mercer and J. Arnold 6—l, 6—2. Ladies’ singles: Mrs King beat Miss Haggitt &—O, o—6, 6—3. Ladies’ doubles: Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Met lad urn beat Mrs Leonard and Mrs King 6—2, 6—3. CANTERBURY FINALS. CHRISTCHURCH, December 29. The Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s annual championships concluded to-clav. The finals resulted *as follows: —- Men’s Singles. Angas beat I. A. ‘Seay 6—2, 4—6, 6—3. y Women’s Singles.—Miss; M. Make beat Miss M. Andrew. 6—2, 6—7, 6—3. Men’s Doubles.— C. Angas and H. Dymond beat J. H. W. Sheppard and T. Rhodes-Williams o—6, 6—4, 9—7. Women’s Doubles.—Misses Wake and - Andrew beat Mrs Y. C. Browne and Miss L. Bergham 6—4, 6—4. Mixed Doubles.—Miss Andrew and Senv beat Miss Wake and Sheppard B_6, 4—6, 9—7.
