OBITUARY
Mr JAMES QUINN. The death occurred ‘suddenly on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock, of Mi* James Quinn, of Greymouth. The deceased was about to enter his car at Greymouth Motors, Ltd., when he collapsed and expired immediately, death being due to heart failure. Born in Waipori Otago, in 1869, the late Mr Quinn in 1871 came with his parents to Greymouth . He leaves two sons, James- (of St. !B' de's College, Christchurch, who in [March next leaves for the Marist Seminary in Greenmeadows), and Peter (now in the North Island). 'Mr Edwin Quinn of the Suburban Hotel, ijrreyniouth), and Patrick Quinn of the North Island, are brothers of deceased, while Mrs E. Nyberg, of Gr.ymouth, and Mrs T. Furlong of Hokitika, are sis.ers. ‘due funeral on Ganday .if‘•ernoon was very largely attended, friends of the deceased coming from all parts of the district to pay him a r ,st it! outer- 'lhe funeral service at )St. Patrick’s Church and at Karoro Cemetery was conducted by the Very /Rev. - Father J. Long, Adm., assisted by the itev. Father A, Gregory.
