AT ASHBURTON. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) ASHBURTON, December 27. To be awakened by passers-by at 12.15 on Christmas morning and to find the house enveloped in flames was the experience of Mr G. D. -Crabb, Alford Forest Road, Alleuton, Ashburtpn. Mr Crabb had only time enough to seize some clothes and jump through a window. The house, which was a sevenroomed one, was destroyed, together with the contents.. 1
