Mr H, Turner, of Dunedm, has' been appointed by the New Zealand bruit Export Control Board as permanent representative in London. Mr Turner who is a qualified accountant, and a member of the New Zealand Society of Accountants, is recognised as a firstclass business man, and one well fitted to fill the post. He is on the Executive of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Another appointment of importance to the fruit industry is also announced. Air Aif Paynter, of Hastings, has been appointed Government member of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board, in place of the late Air E H. Williams
