The British Industries Exhibition next February promises to be the most successful ever held. The indications are that a record number of buyem will be coming from all over the world, and that last year’s attendance will be largely exceeded. In addition to a heavy industries section at Birmingham and the main London section at Olympia, where exhibits of British goods in the greatest variety will occupy some 300,000 ...square feet, an important feature this year will be a special textile section at White City, where the original allocation of space ■ had to be increased in the last few weeks to meet demands from all sections of the textile industries. Many travel concessions to buyers attending are already announced. ■NEW MOTOR-BOAT. RUGBY, December 21. It is announced that Miss England 111, the racing motor-boat which Lord Wiakefield is having built with a view to an attack on the world’s water ■speed record, will be constructed in the Thames-side yards of Thornycroft; Models of the hull are under test. Like Miss 'England 11, the boat will be equipped with the two latest [Rolls Royce aero', engines. 'She is to be completed before the end of April. According to-present plans Kaye Don will take her to Lake Garda, Italy, tor trials, which may be followed by an attempt on the record which he set up in Miss England 11. A FAST TRIP. LONDON, December 22. The liner “Rangiitane’s” steaming time to Wellington on the present trip from Southampton was 31 days 12, hours 37 minutes, the average speed being 14| knots. This is her fastest •trip. INTERNATION PILOTS. VOLUME ON FLIGHTS TO BE COMPILED. ROME, December 22. One hundred aind twenty pilots concerned in fifty : three ocean flights have been invited to an international conference convened by the Royal Aero Club, Italy, on May sth. All have been asked to submit reports wherefrom a volume be compiled. HERR HITLER INJURED. BERLIN, December 22. Hitler was slightly injured when the car in which he was riding crashed into another machine.
