JAPANESE WARNING. ERADICATION OF BANDITRY. (Received this day at 9.25 a.m) SHANGHAI, December 23. General Honjo, commanding the Japanese forces in Manchuria, issued a ,'solemn vviarning to China: not to interfere with military movements, otherwise drastic action would be taken against any force attempting to hinder the eradication of undisciplined Chinese troops adopting banditry. All ambiguity regarding the intentions of the Japanese is removed with the publication of a Tokio war office statement announcing the determination to remove the possibility of all future disturbances in Manchuria by drastic military action against Cliaing Swell Liang’s troops concentrated at Chin Chow.
