John Ebeiiezer Kelly Brown, 45, a doctor, was charged to-day with being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor car in Hereford St. yesterday evening. He was remanded till January 14th, bail being allowed of £25. Counsel for defence said Doctor Brown had been ill and before going out on Monday took some “dope” bromide •etc., which affected him.
