i i. HOPES OF REFLOATINGrc (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, December 22. The steamer Newton Elm is .still aground but it is hoped to refloat h’r on high Christinas tides. It is learned, however, that- the vessel has sprung a slight leak in No. 2 hold. The crew are still aboard and there is no immediate danger.
