MAYOR’S FUND. * '‘S EARNEST APPEAL is made to the citizens of the town to contribute to a fund to be called the “Mayor’s Fund,’’ for the purpose of: (1) To Supplement the ordinary Unemployment Grant for the pur- ' pose of giving unemployed men in the Borough extra employment during' the ’Xmas Week. (2) To etablish a permanent Fund for Relief by way of subsidising the Unemployment Grant from time to time, and generally to assist cases of destitution. This Fund will be administered under the supervision of the Unemployment Committee, and if in addition to stPaightout contributions, contributors to the Fund could give a regular monthly payment, it would give the .
