O.swrtld MeAlpine, aged 18. of Martiiiborough. who was accidentally shot while shooting rabbits at Whatarangi on Sunday, died early this morning.

At the inquest a verdict was returned that death was due to toxaemia, caused by a gunshot wound, accidentally self-inflicted.
