The Communists, in Hamburg, broke a Christmas truce, and clashed with the police at the famous Don Fair, when , they were prevented from haranguing thousands of visitors, One Communist was killed, and four Communists were wounded.vThe riot lasted for ninety minutes. Five were arrested.
HON. W. CHURCHILL. New York, Dec. 14. The Right Hon. Winston Churchill, M.P., the British statesman, who is visiting here, was struck by an automobile when he was crossing Fifth Avenue, and was taken to hospital late to-night (Sunday). He is suffering from a sprained right shoulder and lacerations to the forehead and the nose.
