TWO RIFLES STOLEN. (Australian. Press Association.) SYDNEY, December 10. A military drill hall at Ashlield a Sydney suburb, was raided by thieves early this morning. Two service rifles were stolen. The authorities say the rifles would be useless without the bolts, which as a precaution, are always kept in a secret part of the building, It is believed that the real motive was the theft of ammunition, none of which is ever allowed to be stored in drill hulls.
