The final figures are as follows : |Sir C. Statham (I.) 5389; Mr Neilson (Lab.) 5127. Majority 262. DUNEDIN, December 9. Chalmers final—Ansell-3870, Campbell 3698, Seollay 299. Majority 172. TEN CARS BURNED. DUNEDIN, December 9. Ten motor cars were destroyed by a '.fire this morning which occurred in old wooden buildings at South’ Dunedin .formerly used as a stable. The building was rented to Royds Alot-crs. insuiancGs, if any, are unavailable.
