VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. STEDMAN WINS TWO MATCHES. (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE, December 9. Playing in the Victorian tennis championships, A. Stedman (New Zealand) was defeated by J. Hawkes (Vicoria) in the singles 6—4, 6—4, 6—4. Stedman and A. Willard beat R. Fothringliam and L. Schwartz 6—2, 6—l, 6—4, in the doubles. Stedman and Miss Bellamy beat T. -Robinson and Miss Anthony 6 —4, 4—6—3, in the'mixed doubles.
