AR AKKRA FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report:—Ait Monday’s fortnightly sale at the above yards our entry consrsvefl of 30 bead of good quality light to handy weight cattle, which were submitted to the asual attendance of buvers.
Competition was good, at prices a par with those of recent sales. Best ox and heifer beef averaged 28s per hundred, and good cow beef from 22s to 25s per hundred. We sold as follows: —On account of F. G. Williams and Sons. 2 bullocks at £8 15s, 2 at £7 17s 6d, 1 runner at £6 ss, 1 bullock"'at £9 2s 6d, 2at £8 12s 6d, 3 heifers at £7 7s 6d. 2 bullocks at £8 2s 6d. 1 at £9 10s, 2 heifers at £7 ss, 2 at £6 15s, 2 cows n,t £5 12s 6d, 2 at £5 os, 1 bullock a £8 7s 6d, 1 cow at £6 15s, 1 heifer and 1 cow at £5 17s 6d, 2 heifers at £7 10s, 2 at £7.
