ARAHURA STOCK SALE. The usual fixture at the above yards .was held y:s ter day when an entry of B2 head of cattle and 92 sheep were entered. Competition was restricted to limits prevailing at Addington and in V consequence the market was by no means as good as last sale. For heavy beef the drop was more apparent, finished (light weights -not suffering so big a decrease. W. Jeffrie. 1 ' and Co. sold as follows; For M. Moynihan 30 fat ewes and * wethers shorn r.t i2s 9cl. For W. Palmer 40 prjme ewes shorn at 14s 6d. 22 shorn wethers-,at i7s.
For -D. A. Roberts 2 light steers at '£s 112 s 6d, 4 at 55 ss, 2 iat £5 2s 6d, 2 at £5, 2 at. £4 10s. 1 cow at £6. 2 heifers, at £1 los. 2 runners at £2 19s.
