POLITICIAN GAOLED,. FRIENDS CARRY ON CAMPAIGN. (Australian Press Association.) MELBOURNE,. December 8. ‘Noble Kerby, .Independent Labour Candidate for Melbourne ports, has been arrested on twenty-four warrants of commitment. These are for unpaid fines for breaches of Motor Oar Act. Kerby was taken to gaol to begin lii’g term of four months, while his friends are cointinuing liis campaign for him.
