COWS ELECTROCUTED. HIGH TENSION LINE BREAKS (By Telegraph —Per Press Association j AUCKLAND, Dec. 6. Eleven dairy cows out of a herd of forty, the‘property of Mrs Chalmers, of Horahora, were found electrocuted on Friday morning, as a result of a high tension line breaking.

The cows, were turned out on Thursday night, and everything appeared in order on Friday, until the eleven carcases were found lying in a paddock.

A. V. Radcliffe, 24, a well known AAfellingtoti speedway rider, who received 'severe consussion as the result of a fall at Kilbirnie Stadium on November 30th., died at the hospital to-day. An inquest will be held at a date to be fixed.
