MENACED BY FLOODS. DANGER CONSIDERED inevitable. MELBOURNE, December. 8. Central, and south western and coastal districts are menaced by the most extensive floods for years. Torrential rain has fallen for over a week, and mniiv rivers and creeks are alreadv in high flood. The railway maiil services ar* disorganised and great damage is considered inevitable.
