OPTION ACCEPTED. DUNEDIN, November. 28. It is reported from 1 Lawrence that the representative group of English capitalists, who were recently in the strict, have accepted an option over the Sailor’s Gully Sluicing Company’s mining property at Waitabuna Gully, and. that a substantial deposit has been rendered. This company is possessed of a very valuable water rightwliicli controls a big tract of country known to bo cement bearing. Over 260 miner’s rights have been issued during the current year by the clerk of the local Warden’s Court. This gives somo indication of the increased activity in local mining circles.
