LATE LOCALS.

Jumping from an aeroplane at an altitude of 1400 feet in th e stiff northwesterly wind, a parachutist, PilotOfficer J. ;S. Fraser, gave a thrill to a crowd of about 1000 people at the Wigram Aerodrome op Saturday afternoon. Mr Fraser fell for nearly 1000 feet before he opened his .parachute. He landed about a quarter of a mile to 'the west of the aerodrome.
