GOVERNOR-GENERAL
NORTH ISLAND ITINERARY. TOWNS' YET TO BE VISITED. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 1. The Governor-General, and Lady Bledisloe, will leave Wellington 0 n Sunday afternoon, with the object of paying a series of official visits to the centres in the Manawatu, H-awkes Bay and Taranaki districts, which , they have, not yet had the opportunity of seeing. The tour will occupy a fortnight, and Their Excellencies will then go into residence at Government House, Auckland, for Christmas and the early part of the New Year. Between December 7th. and lltli. Their Excellencies will make the acquaintance of the people, at Feilding, Dannevirke, Patea, Eltliam and Stratford. The 12th. and 13th. will he spent at Dawson Falls House, Mt. Egmont; the 14th. at Wanganui, the loth.: at Ma.rton, arriving at Rotorua on Decmeber 16th. On the next three days, in company with the Hon. Apirana Ngata, they ' will inspect Maori land development schemes, and farming settlements in the Rotorua areas, arriving at Auckland on December 21st.
