WRESTLING.
PINTO DEFEATS MEESKE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON Nov. 30. The wrestling bout, between' Stanley Pinto. 14st. 31bs, and Billy Meeske, 13st. 3lbg., ended suddenly shortly : after the start of the fifth round.. Meeske, who gained the first fall in the fourth round, after a series of “flying tackles, ’> dived out. of the ring when tackling' his man, and was unable to continue. Meeske was cheered loudly throughout - the bout, while Pinto was hooted from the moment he entered the ring. Meeske did most of the attacking, and was well ahead when he obtained liis first fall. Pinto was in a bad way at the start of round five, and lie looked to be beaten when Meeske went out of the ring.
