FRIDAY, NOVEMBER'27th.

Several new artists are making their .appearances on lYA’s programme this evening. Mr Abel Rowe, a very well knovii tenor, /is 'singing some of his •own compositions, and Mrs Annie L. ■Lewis (contralto) will be heard in a groups id ballads. Saxophone and novelty piano items will.be given by the Wallers* Bae Duo and other artists appearing 'will he Mrs U. ' Brian in popuiai

songs at the piano, and Mr Cyril T-ou-sev, solo pianist. A feature of 2YA’s programme will by the Aotca Trio of voices, specialising in Maori folic songs. Mr Claude Moss (baritone), who organised the trio, will also be heard in the solo “Kainate.” Mr Edwin Dennis (tenor) and 'Miss Ena Rapley (soprano) will please listeners with solos and duets from the musical comedy “Rejuvenation,” by Wynn and Andre. This play has not yet been heard in New Zealand, Mr J. A. Blackwood will contribute piano-accordeon numbers. The Orchestrina will contribute light orchestra/ numbers. Misses Norma and Margaret Middleton, playing violin and piano respectively, will give recitals of Scottish and Irish folk songs at 3YA. Mrs Sen. Jowett (mezzo-contralto), Mrs Josephine Brosnahan (mezzo-soprano) and Mr Claude Burrows (baritone) will be the assisting vocalists, with the Two Rascals in vaudeville turns and the Studo Octet. The whole programme will be of a popular nature.

Variety will also be the keynote ol dYA’s programme, which will be of an old time nature. Dagg’s Band will intersperse the programme with tunes of other days—lancers, barn dances, Irish quadrilles and waltzes. The Happy Four will sing many old, favourites, including a number of negro songs. Mr J. B. Flynn will give hfimorous recitations.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28th. This evening, IYA will relay from the Auckland Town Hall a concert to be given by the Municipal Band, under the concltictorship of Mr George Buckley. 2YA will relay from the Concert (Chamber, Wellington Town Hall, a concent by the Wellington 'Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen’s Association’s Male Voice Choir. Both 4YA and 3YA will broadcast on relay from His 'Majesty's Theatre, Dunedin, a performance of Monckton’s light opera “The Boy,” as produced by the Dunedin Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society under the direction of Major F> 'H. Dampen. MrT. J. Kjrk-Burn-nand is the musical director. As in the production of “A Country Girl,” an excellent cast has been selected.
