Yardings of fat stock at the Addington Metropolitan Market on Wednesday were in general smaller than for the previous sale, and in consequence prices showed a slight improvement The general quality of the fat stock em try was very good. The yarding of fat cattle was of about one hundred less than last week, and included some very fine quality, but prices were much on a. par with the previous sale. Fat sheep showed an advance of from Is to Is 6d a head over the sale, and values for fat lambs were very firm, with the average price per lb. about 6d. Any vealers showing condition sold at last week’s rates. There was little demand for fat pigs. Bacon sold at an average price of from 3d to 4RI per lb, and pork at from 5-Jd to 6-Jd per lb.
