CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 25. There wa» a slightly better price for she'q), but beef was easier, at to-day’s Addington sale. There was a smaller yarding of beef. There was no rise in values, but an easing tendency, if anything. 11.st heavy bullocks sold to £lf 7s 6d, prime £8 15s to £9 17s 6d, medium £7 5s to £8 15s, inferior from £5 os. Best heavy heifers sold to £lO 2s 6d, prime £(3 5s to £7 10s, medium £4 5s to £5 12s 6d, prime heavy cows sold to £lO 2s (Id, prime £5 5s to £7 los, medium £4 os to £4 12s, inferior from £2 10s.

There was a small yarding of store sheep. Values were on a par with late rates. There was a fair inquiry for best quality of ewes with lambs at foot, and for two-tooths. Them was a smaller entry of mutton. Values showed an increase on last week, especially best wethers. Extra heavy wethers sold to 20s lid, prime 17s to 18s, prime 15s to 16s, medium 13s to 14s, light 11s to 12s. Extra heavy ewes sold to 18s lOd, prime los to 16s 6d, handyweights 13s to 14s, medium 11s to 12s, light from 9s. There was a medium yarding of fait pigs, Porkers met a better sale than last week. Baconers showed an appreciable vise. Porkers sold from 33n to 35s 6d, heavier 36b fld to 39s 6d ; bac. oners 44s to 48s 6d, heavier SOT to 555; choppers 55s to £4 6s. Store pigs were easier.
