FLOURESCENT RAY TREATMENT

The Prince of Wales visiting the Royal .Northern Hospital, Holloway, watched a patient undergoing new flourescent ray cancer treatment, which Doctor Gouldesbrough afterwards explained. He told the Prince, that he was convinced the treatment which he originated only, four yearß ago, had immense possibilities. It was now being tried in Austiaira, Canada, and India. “Wbat about radium,” asked the Prince, who was surprised when told that it was no longer so popular with doctors. Iu the X-ray Department, the Prince saw the bones of his own hand, and also a nurse’s heart beating behind a flourescent ray screen.
