At La Trobe, Pennsylvania, three men were killed and one is dying, as the result of being struck by a .swooping airplane as they attempted to run for safety, 'fire pilot of the plane was unaware of the accident, and continued his flight. Later on, seeing the men lying on the field, 1 despite damaged landing gear,' he landed" 7 safely and' endeavoured to aid the victims.
