BRAVE GIRLS
COMMENDED BY CORONER. (By Telegraph — Per press Association) DUNEDIN, November 24. At the inquest on T. Lyon, of Greenfield, who was gored by a bull, the Coroner, referred to the courageous action of deceased’s young daughters in going to their father’s assistance. One hit the bull over the head with a stick while the other held the animal’s head.
The jury recommended that the girls be awarded a Royal Humane Socety’s medal.
