AHAHUHA STOCK SALE. The. fortnightly fixture at the above yards was held yesterday in unpleasant weather conditions. AV. Jeffries and • Co. report their entry comprised 65 fat ewes and 45 head of cattle including a number of runners. The attendance of butchers was representative but competition was restricted to light finished sorts in keeping with the season of the year. AVe had no heavy pens i» our entry. iLight ox beef sold to 28s per hundred, heifer beef to 27s 6d, c o w beef (to 21s. Sheep and .runners made full market values. The following sales were recorded : For a Canterbury client 65 shorn ewes, at 14s 6d. For Howard Reynolds 4 light steers at £6 17s 6d, 1 cow at £5 l2s° 6d, 1 heifer at £4, 2 runners at £5 15s. For T. Staines 2 cows at £5 17s 6d, ,1 runner «,t £3 7s 6d.
