The Governor, Sir P. Game, received a petition from the New Guard, asking him to dissolve the Legislative Assembly. The ground of tbe petition was stated to be that people in New South Wales were very apprehensive because of continued disloyal acts and utterances, and because the Premier and Ministers no longer retained the confidence of the people. The Governor agreed to give- his aU sever to-morrow.
