Belfast Lough was lighted up. The flames were seen, for miles around. Strangely enough the Bermuda was under repair at Belfast, owing to fire damage she sustained on June 17th vvhiife lying at the ’Hamilton wharf, Beimuda, vhen it was necessary t;o submerge her to prevent the flames from reaching the oil tanks. CORRECTION. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, November 20. Tlie Bermuda the nineteen thous-
and tonner vessel is now only a blackened hulk. Several explosions due to the bursting of acetylene drums were heard miles away. Efforts to sink her failed. It is impossible to reach the seacocks. The Bermuda cost 1£ millions.
