NO MAGISTERIAL INQUIRY
WELLIGNTON, November 18
No magisterial inquiry is to he held into the mishap to l!he Pukuru at I ora Landing on November 7. It is understood that evidence tendered at the preliminary inquiry by the Marine Dbpartinent shows that' there was no suggestion of negligence on the part oJ anyone concerned and no lives were at any time endangered. ft- is recognised that slops working in such places as the fora Landing are running a risk and the general opinion is that the rock on which the Paklira struck must have Leon missed very narrowly on many previous occasions.
