DEATH IN HOSPITAL
MAN WHO FELL INTO HOT ASHES.

AUCKLAND, November 17. Harry Rosser Strong, aged 51, who fell into a hopper of hot coal ashes at the city power station last Wednesday died in hospital to-day. He was loosening the hopper when he slipped. Owing to the weight of the ashes he was unable to extricate himself and nearly fifteen minutes elapsed before others hauled him out with a line.
