There was a fairly large yarding of beef. There was a sharp decline m values, especially for heavy weights. There was a. medium yarding or store sheep. There was a small at* tendance of buyers, A good demand was shown for forward wethers arid best quality ewe s with lambs at foot. Ewe hoggets were 1 in fail* demand. Inferior lots were harder to. quit. There was a large yarding .of ; - fat sheep. AH grades were fully sented. Handy weight ?heep were; selling on a better basis of value in comparison with me heavier weights. The demands generally was .easier.,, Best heavy ewes sold from 18s to 20s lOd, prime heavy 16s to 17s, prime 14s to los 6d, medium 12s to 18s, light from 9®. Best heavy ewes r sold from 16s to 18s 10d, prime heavy 14s to 15s, prime 12s to 13s, medium 10s to 11s, light from 6s. There was a large yarding of fat lambs. The demand was keen. Butchers are now a,ble to- sell readily to the public, owing to small joints being popluar. Values were: Extra heavy prime lambs .to 24s 7d, prime 18s to 21s 6d, medium 15s lid to 17s. 9d, light 11s 6d to 15s 6d. There was large yarding of store pigs. Large sorts were firm, hut weaners were easier, and fat pigs were also easier, while heavy baconers were hard to quit. Porkers sold from 34s to 37®, heavier 38s to 40s, choppers 35s to £3 13s 6d, baconers 40s to £6 ss, heavier 46s to 50s, extra heavy to 54a Gd.
