The “Sydney Morning Herald” says llio retirement of Premier Lang from State politics early in the New Year is generally expected in Labour circlesHe will probably be the “Lang Rian” candidate at the forthcoming Federal elections, ft is expected that Mr Gander, the endorsed Australian Labour Party candidate for the Reid seat, will stand down in favour of Mr Lang.
