TENNIS
THE ARAHURA CLUB. The anpual meeting of the Arabura Tennis Club was held lust evening, when there was a good attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted ;as follows: —Chairman, Mr M. Mandl; club captain, Mr E. Cook; committee, Misses McMahon, Shaw, 3L Toker, A, Toker, imd Mr A. Martin; secretary and treasurer, Mr E, Cook.
It was decided that the arrangements regarding the ladder competition be the same as last year, The subscription® were fixed at IDs for sen' ior members and 2 s 6d for junior members, The number of members was limited to 35, while the age limit for junior members was fixed at 15 years. The resignations of the chairman and the secretary were accepted with regret. A vote of thanks was passed to all those who, in any way, had assisted the Club.
The meeting concluded with a hearty vote of thanks to the Chair.
