LASHES INFLICTED
ON SUPPOSED COMMUNISTS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received this day at 9.2 ft a.m) VANCOUVER, November 15. Five supposed Communists living in the Pontiac district in Michigan, were kidnapped from their homes at midnight by the vigilantes. They were ’taken to the baseball park where they were stripped and lashed with whips. Their captors included uniformed men, but the police deny any knowledge of the incident.
