PALMERSTON N., November 13.
At the hearing of the Decke minder charge, William Donovan, the Dominion Analyst, gave the results o, tests, which' were carried ,out on rags that. were used to clean DeGke’s rifle. He had found traces of • copper aria potassuim, a compound which was consistent with the firing of Diamonu brand cartridges, the- same as those picked ;up at Kjerere. The ipowdejr stains on the deceased’s coat also contained potassium. . , ‘
Decke was committed for trial, 1 The Magistrate /agreed that the case was a proper one for the accuseu to be supplied with counsel.
