HIS VIEWS ON POSITION. (Jiy Teleyraph —Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH November 13. Full confidence that the people ol New Zealand will rally to the support of the Coalition Government and give it an emphatic mandate on polling day. was expressed by the Prime Minister, Hon. Geo. Forbes, on his arrival from Wellington this morning. The Prime Minister will deliver a policy speech at Rangiorn in his electorate, on Tuesday and will afterwards visit the principal centres of the South Island and North Island.
“We are not through our troubles bv any means, and there is a lot of rough water still to Ije negotiated,” the Prime Minister said.
“I think, however, it is generally recognised, now that the Coalition Government has been formed, that there should he an emphatic endorsement of what it stands for, namely, the balancing, of the Budget, the ob- ' srrvance of all our obligations and the cutting down of expenditure, j
