For the first time since August, the unemployment registrations as shown for the week ended November Bth, were below 50,000. The total on November Bth was 49,935, showing a decrease of 1473 since the peak reached for the week ended October sth. The number of men included in the above figures, who were engaged on part-time relief schemes was 33,546, which is less by 3212 than , the figures for the previous week.
