He knows quite a lot about it.” Later, when leaving the school, his Excellency stepped before the boy as he stood ip line and said he would like to buy him a book to celebrate liis visit to the school. 'Hie lad suggested “ ‘Tom Sawyer,’ by Mark Twain, you know,” and the Goveimor-Geheftil and the seven-year-old schoolboy chatted for a few moments about books. The boy agreed to leave the choice of the book in his Excellency’s hands.
